2025 International Ceramic Symposium ,,Alternatively Ceramics"

2025 m. vasarą Agnė Šemberaitė dalyvavo Lenkijoje vykusiame tarptautiniame keramikos simpoziume ir seminare ,,Alternatyvioji keramika". Simpoziume sukurti darbai rudenį buvo pristatyti visuomenei Gdanske, Baltijos kultūros centre.

,,Participating in this symposium was a significant opportunity for me to experiment with new glazing and firing techniques. My works are typically defined by complex forms, fragility, and intricate detailing, which made the use of Copper Matte and Naked Raku particularly challenging. Rather than focusing on what to create, I concentrated on how to bring my ongoing themes to life in ways that would withstand these demanding processes—resulting in pieces such as Totem and Butterfly.

The series Containers of Emotions emerged from a desire to preserve my signature style while discovering forms better suited to alternative ceramic firing methods.

And finally-Alien. Even I’m surprised by how oddly strange this piece turned out… All I can say is that the inspiration for it came from a cicada shell I saw the day before arriving to the symposium from Italy.'' - Agnė Šemberaitė
